Hi Dan, I know many people with farms who would take older non-laying hens, not many will take on egg eaters as this tends to disrupt the flock. That said, even without an egg eater in the mix- for us- we’re glad we handled the situation as we did. Thanks for your interest and concern, it’s a tough topic! Hope your girls are doing great 🙂
