Della- Farmer Don sure does know his veggies! I keep hearing about beet greens... I'm going to have to give that a try! Nothing beats roasted beets :-)

Shari & Don, It was so fun getting to know you a little better and see how you run the farm! What a gem of a farm tucked into Little Canada you two have! Cheers to a great growing season, and I'll see you at the WBL Farmer's Market :-)

I so love their veggies. Especially the beets. Early on I cook the beet greens then roast the beets, peel, slice and freeze. Later on I just roast the beets, slice and freeze. It is so good to have those beets in the middle of winter. I have given some frozen to a neighbor and he said they were the best ever. I have even started getting veggies to take to our feeding program at church. We feed those in need (and some not in need, but there for the company) on Thursdays. They get cooked, or fresh or stir fried. The squash is the best too. All of the veggies I have gotten have been so wonderful. I look forward to the LC Farmer's market every week.
