Companion Planting for the Home Gardener

Class Description: Learn the secrets + science of how plants grow better together. The practice of companion planting is making a comeback with organic home gardeners- and for good reason! With a few key concepts, and some specific pairings, you can help your vegetables flourish while adding beauty to your garden space. We’ll cover topics like minimizing diseases, reducing pests, supporting pollinations and improving soil fertility. Be ready to plant your best garden yet!

Sessions include personalized vegetable garden design taking into consideration; the best organic practices, companion planting, crop rotation and water wise techniques. We always start with small attainable garden goals. One on one help with plant selection and spacing. $50/hour.

Hi Michelle, Love your website, podcast, and Instagram! Hope you are having a great 2nd trip to Arizona! I felt like I heard you mention your favorite (brand) – I know that’s not the correct term for radishes and I wish I would have written it down (It was something I haven’t tried before). I usually get German Giant Parat or Cherry Belle. My question is, would you ever share your top choices for radishes, beans, beets, carrots, and peas for growing in Minnesota? —-or would you just do it for me??? Thank you so much, Jill
