Meet Nancy Jacobson, one of the six siblings involved in running the orchard. This truly is a Family Run Business!
The first apple trees were planted on the shore of Pine Tree Lake in 1904. That orchard would one day be Pine Tree Orchard for Art Jacobson, a city boy from St. Paul, who dreamed of growing apples and living on the land.
Today, Pine Tree Apple Orchard is a long standing community partner and down to earth family-run business.
It is so worth a visit to the picturesque Orchard! Check their website for open hours, typically open into March.
The well stocked store is full of bags of apples, gallons of cider, homemade bakery items- with the star being their apple pie! Plus, jellies, jams and so much more.
