Meet Sigrid, baker and owner of Hoppel Poppel Breads.

As you may have ben able to hear, Sigrid comes from Germany, where they perfected the art of baking with sourdough long ago. She grew up with fresh bread at every corner bakery, but missed this with a move to Minnesota.

So she started perfecting baking her own. Sigrid bakes breads made without preservatives or additives… In her own words; “The result are loaves with depth of flavor and good structure, that are satisfying to eat and easy to digest. We call our bakery ‘Hoppel Poppel” after a German children’s book about the adventures of two rabbits.”
